Multimedia Designer APCO Worldwide

Role Summary
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling digital content across various platforms, including websites, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials. This role combines graphic design, photography, videography, and web development to support internal and external communication needs. The designer collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, engaging multimedia outputs that align with brand and communication goals.

Responsibilities

1. Digital Design & Multimedia Production
   
   • Design products using drawings, sketches, models, or written instructions.
   • Collaborate with writers, animators, artists, filmmakers, and video producers to integrate multimedia elements.
   • Present final design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
   • Ensure copyright clearance and liaise with account managers and technical staff.
   • Design and maintain websites, newsletters, and internal announcements, including layout, content updates, and accessibility.
   • Create templates for presentations and communications across promotional, developmental, and administrative needs.
2. Photography & Videography
   
   • Capture video and photographs for various events.
   • Set up and operate camera equipment efficiently.
   • Edit images and videos to ensure high quality in terms of color, font, size, sound, and music.
   • Review final drafts for proper credits, copyright, captions, and legal compliance.
3. Ad-Hoc Assignments
   
   • Complete tasks and reports as requested by the direct manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Photography, or a related field.
• 2 3 years of relevant experience in multimedia design.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in videography and editing.
• Expertise in visual, conceptual, and graphic design.
• Skilled in interactive media, interface design, video/audio production, and web design.
• Creative, flexible, resilient, and solution-oriented.
