Murex Expert

We are seeking a skilled Murex Expert to support large-scale transformation and migration initiatives within the treasury and capital markets domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Murex platform, particularly in system upgrades, data migration, and environment transitions.

• 5 plus years of hands-on experience with Murex is required.
• Proven experience in Murex migration/upgrade projects.
• Good understanding of financial products: Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives.
• Expertise in Datamart / reporting, MxML Exchange, Trade lifecycle management
• Strong SQL and data handling skills.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of integration with external systems.
• Experience working in Middle East banking environments, especially in Saudi Arabia.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks in KSA.
• Prior experience in large-scale transformation programs

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end migration projects within the Murex platform (MX.3 or earlier versions).
• Perform data migration, validation, and reconciliation across environments.
• Analyze existing system configurations and define migration strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Front Office, Risk, Back Office) to ensure seamless transition.
• Support upgrade projects, including version migrations and patch implementations.
• Design and execute test cases for migrated systems (UAT, SIT).
• Troubleshoot migration-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory standards in KSA.
