Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Music teacher for an international school in Kuwait. The school follows the Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future education in Kuwait, the UK, or elsewhere.
With the school expanding into Secondary (beginning with Year 9 this coming academic year, and Years 10 and 11 to follow), they are in a period of growth and re-evaluating their approach. They are now open to appointing an experienced Teacher of Music, with the view and would consider promoting internally after a year.
Essentials
Music related Bachelor's Degree (UK-recognised)
Certificate of Education, Master's of Education or Qualified Teacher Status
A minimum of two years relevant teaching experience (Key Stage 1 through to GCSE)
An excellent working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
A proven track record of effective teaching
A secure knowledge of using technology to support education (experience using Google Suite is desirable)
