How you will contribute
You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondel z International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

What you need to know about this position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Advisor to join our team in Morocco. As a Payroll Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees in Morocco, while adhering to all local laws and regulations. Fluency in French is essential for this role, as you will be communicating with employees and stakeholders in French on a regular basis.

- Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all Moroccan labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Calculate and remit social security contributions, income tax, and other statutory deductions.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant authorities.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay informed of changes in Moroccan payroll laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
Job specific requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll accounting with experience of handling global markets.
- Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In depth knowledge in taxation laws and regulations, accounting principles and SAP.
- familiarity with labor laws, workday, and service now.
