Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies for OTC pharmaceutical products across KSA.

  • Drive achievement of sales targets, revenue growth, and market share expansion.

  • Monitor market trends, pharmacy dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Apply deep knowledge of OTC trade practices, promotional mechanics, and execution excellence to maximize brand performance and sell-out.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and manage a national sales organization, including Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Medical Representatives.

  • Define clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance standards aligned with business objectives.

  • Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and structured coaching sessions to enhance team capability.

  • Build a high-performing, motivated, and compliant sales team with strong OTC execution skills.

Channel & Customer Management

  • Manage key accounts, distributors, pharmacy chains, wholesalers, and trade partners across KSA.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with group pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, and pharmacy procurement teams.

  • Actively engage pharmacy decision-makers to secure product listings, improve shelf presence, and drive sell-out performance.

  • Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, merchandising, and in-store execution across channels.

  • Support and lead negotiations with key customers and trade partners to achieve commercial objectives.

Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and territory strategies.

  • Analyze sales performance, market data, and field feedback to generate actionable insights.

  • Prepare and present periodic performance reports and recommendations to senior management.

  • Ensure effective territory alignment and optimal utilization of sales resources.

Compliance & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted in full compliance with SFDA regulations and company policies.

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory teams to support product launches, promotions, and sales initiatives.

  • Align commercial execution with regulatory and supply capabilities to ensure seamless market performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 8–12 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with strong exposure to core OTC segments.

  • Proven hands-on experience in the OTC sector with deep understanding of OTC trade practices, pharmacy-driven promotions, and execution models.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a national or senior people management role.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding national sales targets in KSA.

  • Strong and established network with pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, and procurement teams is highly preferred.
