Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The post holder is responsible for:
- Delivering Naval Speciality Training curriculum, and particularly Hull Technician specific elements.
- Supporting invigilation activities for assessments .
- Supporting remedial training activities.
- Writing assessment materials.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
- Writing Trainee reports as required to meet customer requirements.
The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.
The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by the NST Management Team, which aligns with Company business.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential
- Graduate of advanced military trade schools, industrial equivalents or relevant educational establishments.
- Completion of an accredited Instructional Techniques course.
- Strong practical experience in their speciality.
- Recent instructional experience within the last six years.
Desirable
- Hold a minimum of City & Guilds 2850-53 qualification.
- Have experience with MMA welding, sheet metal work and Glass Fibre Repair (GRP) techniques
