Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study cases of involuntarily delinquent borrowers to identify optimal debt settlement solutions, prepare proposals for submission to the credit committees, and conduct direct discussions with clients when necessary to agree on suitable settlements.
  • Review and verify all documents and data received from the institution s branches related to delinquent cases.
  • Coordinate and follow up with all relevant departments within the institution and external entities, such as insurance providers.
  • Monitor the portfolio of borrowers with delinquencies exceeding 90 days, track repayment and collection performance, and work to minimize default rates.
  • Respond to periodic audit observations and findings from the Internal Audit and Review Sector.
  • Conduct branch visits when required to negotiate directly with borrowers who have been delinquent for more than 90 days.
  • Regularly follow up with delinquency officers in all branches to ensure continued progress in reducing overdue cases.

Present settlement memoranda for clients referred to the Legal Affairs Department when such clients request acceptable settlements, after obtaining the legal department s approval

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree, preferably in Commerce, Economics, or Law.
  • Credit Course certification is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Solid knowledge of financial, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong ability to prepare and present settlement proposals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all financial and non-financial products and services offered by the institution.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Capability to provide innovative settlement proposals and practical solutions.
