Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Minimum Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in NDT activities within Oil & Gas projects.
Minimum 3 years of experience working on API 650 Storage Tank projects.
Demonstrated experience coordinating RT, UT, MT, and PT inspection activities during Storage Tank Site installation.
Proven experience working with Third Party Inspection Agencies and Client representatives.
Familiar with quality documentation, weld traceability, and NDT reporting systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
Codes and Standards Knowledge:
API 650 – Weld inspection and NDT requirements
ASME Section V – NDT Methods
ASME Section IX – Welding Qualifications
Mandatory Certifications:
RTFI Certification (Optional)
ASNT Level II certifications in RT, UT, MT, and PT are highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience after certification in RT film interpretation within Oil & Gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all NDT activities during tank site installation.
Review and verify NDT procedures in accordance with API 650, ASME Section V, and ADNOC AGES specifications.
Perform radiographic film interpretation and evaluation.
Ensure NDT compliance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and project quality procedures.
Coordinate NDT activities with QA/QC inspectors and third-party inspection agencies.
Ensure traceability of all NDT performed , film records, inspection documentation and reports as the case maybe.
Support client inspections, audits, and documentation reviews.
