Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify work instructions for NDT methods in compliance with customer specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to interpret codes, standards and project / contractual specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret inspection quality data, conduct research on product defects, and recommend modification in products or quality standards, where such appear to be warranted.
  • Serve as liaison with customers on NDT related enquiries, visit customers and suppliers as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and expertise in sales, engineering and manufacturing on NDT issues with regards to customer inquires.
  • Perform system audits on all NDT areas and personnel, to secure and maintain necessary accreditations, authority & regulatory approvals.
  • Assist in new NDT processes and procedures development, train and certify NDT inspectors in the method(s) and techniques, NDT Team management, capacity building etc.
  • Operational management of all NDT activities pertaining to Industrial Services, Lifting Inspections etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10 to 12 Years of work experience, with around 5 years of specific experience in UAE / GCC.
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical or metallurgical science and damage mechanisms.
  • Certified ASNT level III in RT, UT, MT, PT. Must possess RSO / RPO Certification.
  • Specialized NDT Certifications such as PCN Level II / III – ToFD, PAUT, CSWIP - LRUT etc. Solid exposure to Advanced NDT applications such as AUT, MFL, Tubular Inspections, OCTG applications etc.
  • API Certifications and exposure to In-Service Inspections & plant turnaround activities, will be an added advantage.
