Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy customized NetSuite solutions, including SuiteScript, workflows, and integrations, to address specific business requirements and maximize platform efficiency.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose innovative solutions within the NetSuite ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and saved searches to provide users with insightful data visualizations and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Implement and manage integrations with third-party applications using APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and streamlined business processes.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of custom code and configurations to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and adherence to best practices.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve user inquiries related to NetSuite functionalities and customizations in a timely and effective manner.
- Stay up-to-date with NetSuite updates, new features, and industry best practices to continuously improve and optimize the platform.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all customizations, integrations, and configurations, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the overall NetSuite strategy by identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in software development principles.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a NetSuite developer, showcasing a deep understanding of the platform's functionalities and customization capabilities.
- NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) are highly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise.
- Experience in working across various industries, showcasing adaptability and the ability to understand diverse business processes.
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript (0 and , including scripting for client-side, server-side, and user event scripts, for advanced customization.
- Solid understanding of NetSuite's data model, including custom record types, fields, and relationships, for effective data management.
- Experience with integrating NetSuite with other systems using REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring data synchronization and interoperability.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, demonstrating a passion for innovation and continuous improvement within the NetSuite environment.
