Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Manage and maintain secure connections between corporate offices, hotels, and remote sites.
  • Oversee user access controls, permissions, and network security protocols.
  • Implement and manage VPNs and remote access solutions for staff and management.
  • Perform regular network performance assessments and capacity planning.
  • Maintain and update network documentation, configurations, and topology maps.
  • Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Support the IT team with server administration, system backups, and data recovery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection regulations

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (professional certifications are a plus).

  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator, preferably in the hospitality or investment sector.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, architecture, and data communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, HP, Mikrotik, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory management.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and firewalls.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and deliver reliable solutions quickly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Skills

  • Network Management: LAN/WAN administration, routing, switching, VLAN configuration, and bandwidth optimization.
  • Security Tools: Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Sophos), intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN management.
  • Server & System Support: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP configuration, and backup solutions.
  • Monitoring & Tools: Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
  • Wireless Networks: Setup and management of Wi-Fi networks across large hospitality properties.
  • Virtualization: Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V environments (preferred).
  • Cloud & Email Systems: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud networking integration.
