Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with facilities support teams and internal customers to understand technical requirements and service expectations
- Plan and coordinate equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and system enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot network data and cabling issues and resolve non-routine technical problems efficiently
- Complete trouble tickets in line with cabling service level agreements
- Maintain data network closets to ensure compliance with coding standards and organized, efficient workspaces
- Demonstrate working knowledge of CAT 5, fiber, and power cabling standards and capacities
- Support special events, large-scale moves, system changes, and assigned project work
- Maintain accurate inventory of technology devices, tools, and materials
- Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to ensure safe and effective operation
- Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting incidents or unsafe conditions as required
- Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and safeguard confidential information
- Support team objectives through collaboration, mentorship, and adherence to quality standards
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, productivity, and cost control
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in network cabling, facilities technology, or related technical roles
- Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and facilities support environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel setting
- Valid UAE or home-country driving license
- Physically able to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds as required
