Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description of
VM installation and configuration.
Provision new installed devices using Aruba Mobility controllers.
Providing complete Wi-Fi connectivity using Aruba AP, including site survey report generation and documentation.
Managing Airwave (NMS).
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users.
Handles complaints, takes preventive action and maintains a problem-free network.
Providing complete solution for making interconnectivity in to multiple offices.
Daily health check of all core devices.
Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly management reports.
Create tickets and troubleshoot with L3 support
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users.
Responsible for L1 & L2 troubleshooting the complete solution.
Auditing the traffic flow and performing traffic engineering for network performance, stability and reliability.
Attend MDTs/TCNs.
Configure and apply new AP profiles, AP groups, Policies ... etc. required by the customer.
L2 Authentication Implementation for Users based on SSID, MAC, 802.1x and WEP.
L3 Authentication Implementation for users based on Captive Portal.
Performance reporting and analysis for complete network using Airwave.
Upgrading Aruba controller and Airwaves.
Handed over core devices acceptance (Controllers, NMSs, Routers, SWs, FWs,..etc) of different vendors specially Aruba\Cisco\ Huawei.
New core devices implementation & Configuration (Controllers, NMSs, Routers, SWs, FWs,..etc) of Aruba.
Create tickets and troubleshoot with L3 support of different vendors specially (Aruba, Cisco, Huawei).
Responsible for L1 & L2 troubleshooting the complete solution “from the core perspective” including all systems (Controllers, Access Points, Edge switches, Logs servers, etc.)
Auditing the traffic flow and performing traffic engineering for network performance, stability and reliability Attending the MDTs with the other parties and departments such as the AAA, PCRF, DPI, networking, DHCP and like the DNS for the core.
Generate HLDs and LLDs.
Conduct E2E troubleshooting.
Conduct performance monitoring, reporting and optimizations
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related field or equivalent work experience
CCNA & CCNP Certified
Aruba Certifications ACMA / ACMP
Should have excellent knowledge in IPv4, IPv6, routing, switching, various topologies, Access points, WLAN Controllers, in-Home Router, IPv4 / IPv6, TR-069, IPSEC, QoS, 802.11.
Excellent knowledge in routing, switching protocols. Knowledge in SNMP, RADIUS, CAPWAP, LWAP protocols is a plus.
Should have knowledge of various Network adjuncts and services i.e. AAA, EAP, E2E connectivity, Controllers, NMSs, Routers, SWs, FWs,..etc.
Must possess excellent industry knowledge and theoretical understanding of RFC standards, 802.11 specifications (a/b/g/n/ac, SISO, MIMO).
Experience with testing and Q/A of Layer 1 thru 7 networks.
Experience writing and developing detailed test cases and test plans.
Must possess expert skills and experience with server, desktop operating systems and applications (Windows, Linux).
Strong work ethic with a desire to meet and exceed personal and business goals.
Expert level communication, documentation, teamwork skills.
Self-motivated to take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables.
Experienced technical writing skills sufficient to produce test cases, test plans, design documents, and technical diagrams.
Ability to work both in a team and independently on assigned projects.
Strong documentation, follow-up, communication skills.
Learns and adapts to new technologies and methodologies. Must be able to think outside the box and exercise innovation.
Ability to work with little supervision to execute highly technical and complex tasks.
