To lead and direct the activities of Asset Performance Section through the identification and collection of the relevant related baseline performance data, using retained local technical knowledge, and reporting systems so as to assist and maximize the effectiveness of the asset infrastructure and define the investment work required to deliver the service outputs and manage the programs of work within OETC.

Description:

• Ensure effective implementation of existing Asset Management System across the whole life cycle of assets.
• Ensure continual improvement of best practice Asset Management System standards along with business development.
• Maintain ISO55001 certification and requirements.
• Ensure up-to-date Asset Management System in all its aspects (i.e. AMS Policy, SAMP, Strategies, Standards, Operating Procedures, etc)
• Maintain, Review and monitor Asset Management System Performance
• Maintain, Review and monitor Asset Management System Risks and Opportunities
• Ensure establishment and monitoring of annual maintenance plans
• Reviews asset performance targets, monitors and reports performance against plans.
• Ensure development of asset health indices (AHIs) for determining the technical requirements for intervention activities
• Contribute to the preparation of business and work plans to achieve technical deliverables
• Ensure proper implementation of decision-making processes regarding on specific asset classes based on performance, risk, and cost.
• Undertakes prudent and efficient justification of projects including asset replacement/refurbishment, compliance and reliability projects (CAPEX) and maintenance (OPEX) for specific asset classes
• Meets external regulatory obligations for specific asset classes.
• Assists with the application of risk-based condition assessment processes for specific asset classes
• Ensure conducting of Root cause Analysis for major incidents that affect system reliability or availability.
• Establish and maintain critical spares requirement
• In conjunction with Transmission and LDC Departments, develop performance indicators for primary equipment categories and the processes and procedures required for the collection and analysis of asset performance information to support the effective usage of asset information.
• Provide routine reports on asset performance on a regular basis and as and when required by the asset owner and end users
• Encourage the development of asset management knowledge and skills, including ISO 55001 Standards throughout the organization
• Assists with the identification and justification of new technology on specific asset classes
• Contributes to continuous improvement and innovation in the management of specific asset classes.
• Supports engagement process with customers and stakeholders
• Sharing skills and experience with colleagues and supporting the development of others through coaching where possible
• Adhere to the Company s health, safety, environmental and security policies always and immediately report violations of these policies to OETC health, safety & environment representatives;
• Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management, HSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to ISO55001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.
