Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 24x7 real-time monitoring using Nokia NetAct / NSP / NFM platforms.
- Provide Level-1 (L1) support including alarm monitoring, ticket creation, and initial troubleshooting.
- Monitor RAN, Core, IP, Transmission, and Satellite network elements.
- Manage and monitor Satellite Gateway systems, including:
- Analyze alarms via SNMP, syslogs, and performance dashboards.
- Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams per SLA guidelines.
- Coordinate with field operations, vendors, and satellite providers for fault resolution.
- Support preventive maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities.
- Prepare shift reports, outage reports, and SLA compliance documentation.
Required Technical Skills:
- 2 5+ years of experience in Telecom NOC operations.
- Hands-on experience with Nokia NOC tools (NetAct, NSP, NFM).
- Experience in Satellite Gateway operations (VSAT, RF troubleshooting, modem management).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).
- Knowledge of SLA/KPI monitoring and incident management processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
