Roles & Responsibilities

You will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of core network protocols, IP addressing, and routing and switching technologies, along with proven experience in network monitoring tools and incident response.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network incidents, escalating as necessary.
  • Perform network configuration changes and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Experience with routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced NOC Engineer L2 to join our on-site team in the United Arab Emirates on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with around 10 years of overall experience and at least 7 years of relevant hands-on exposure in a Network Operations Center environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced network monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting across complex infrastructure, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance of critical systems.
