Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Nutrition Officer provides professional, technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the nutrition programmes and projects. The incumbent applies theoretical and technical skills in researching, collecting, analyzing, and presenting technical programme information to support the development and formulation of the Nutrition Programme within the Country Programme, while learning organizational rules, regulations, and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Public Health, Nutrition, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global health, international health and nutrition, health sciences, health research, policy, policy management, nutritional epidemiology and any other related fields.

Work Experience: At least 1 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition, Health and Nutrition, Nutrition Coordination, Maternal Nutrition, Food Systems, Nutrition Information. and any other related fields.

Skills: Experience with Cluster Coordination, Partnership Management and/or Capacity Building.

Language Requirements: English knowledge on a proficient/fluent level.
