Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

Scope of a job

You would be responsible for Odoo applications solutions development, configuration, application and business optimization, customization, and report development. You will be working with multiple teams to gather requirements from business users, as well technical teams for technology, data, and integration matters.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from business users and maintain documentation and monitoring of the business requirements,

  • Develop solutions for business cases, and translates development and integration requirements to the development team,

  • Execute the solution design and requirements through configuration, customization, development, and integrations with other systems and applications,

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously update documentation related to the application configuration and customization, as well as user manuals,

  • Manage project stakeholders and business users,

  • Develops test scenarios for new functionalities, features, and modules,

  • Conducts the testing and submit testing reports to the testing team,

  • Conducts regular training and guidance to business users,

  • Provides L2 support and coordinates with Odoo team to manage and resolve L3 support cases.



Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

  • Knowledge of at least 8 of the following modules, or 2 of the 3 full stack streams mentioned below:

  1. Finance Modules

  2. HR Modules

  3. CRM Modules

  4. Accounting

  5. Employees

  6. CRM

  7. Invoicing

  8. Payroll

  9. Help Desk

  10. Spreadsheets BI

  11. Time Off

  12. Live Chat

  13. Expenses

  14. SMS, Email Marketing


Marketing Automation

  • Knowledge of Python (at least Python knowledge applicable to Odoo customizations)

  • Track record of ERP implementations (preferably Odoo)

  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Experience with solution development and solution design


Other Information

  • Ability to transform business requirements into application solutions (functionality, features, etc.)

  • Can deliver high quality documentation,

  • Collaborate and work well with others,

  • Self-motivated enthusiastic, and able to handle multi-tasking.
