Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules using Python (ORM), XML,, and JavaScript/OWL

  • Build and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party systems via REST API, SOAP, and webhooks

  • Develop custom QWeb reports, dashboards, and portal views

  • Perform data migrations, ETL pipelines, and import/export scripts

  • Optimize existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability

  • Write unit tests and participate in code review processes

Technical Infrastructure

  • Manage Odoo deployments on Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian) and cloud environments (, AWS, Azure)

  • Configure and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including query tuning and indexing

  • Set up CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps workflows

  • Ensure security best practices across all customizations and integrations

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Provide effort estimates for development tasks and maintain accurate documentation

  • Support UAT, debugging, and issue resolution during project go-lives

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge base

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Odoo Technical Certification (v14 or above)

  • Experience with Odoosh platform and containerized deployments (Docker)

  • Knowledge of accounting concepts beneficial for Finance module development

  • Exposure to GCC-specific integrations (ZATCA, einvoicing, payment gateways)

  • Familiarity with React or Vue.js for custom portal/frontend development
