Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

End-User & Helpdesk Support

  • Respond to and resolve IT helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide Tier 1 2 support for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Deliver onboarding/offboarding support including account setup, hardware provisioning, and access control.
  • Assist users with mobile device management, remote access (VPN), and MFA setup.
  • Educate users on IT best practices, security awareness, and productivity tools.

Office 365 Administration

  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint

Online, and OneDrive.

  • Administer user accounts, licenses, security groups, and distribution lists.
  • Configure and monitor security features such as MFA, conditional access policies, and DLP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, Teams collaboration, and SharePoint permissions.
  • Support Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) for device enrollment, compliance, and application deployment.
  • Assist in Office 365 migrations, integrations, and updates.

Systems & Networking Support

  • Perform Active Directory and Azure AD administration, including group policy and SSO integrations.
  • Update and maintain DNS/DHCP records and provide basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, VPN, firewalls).
  • Support patch management, system updates, and application installations.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate records in the asset management system.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and IT process guides.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, emerging IT tools, and security practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2 4 years of IT Helpdesk and/or Office 365 administration experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune).
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and group policy management.
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and general networking concepts.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supporting diverse users.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MD-100/101, MS-500, or AZ-104.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk).
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools (e.g., Kaseya/VSA).
