Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, conducting regular inspections and handling minor repairs as needed.
- Plan and optimize daily routes based on traffic conditions, weather, and other potential delays to maximize efficiency.
- Act as a point of contact for transportation-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials or packages when required, ensuring safe handling and delivery.
- Coordinate with administrative staff to align driving schedules with business appointments and events.
- Monitor fuel consumption and report any irregularities or maintenance issues promptly to the management.
- Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality when transporting sensitive information or personnel.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Minimum 5-10 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or office environment.
Familiarity with GPS and mapping software, demonstrating the ability to navigate efficiently.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus for international businesses.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and make quick decisions when necessary.
Physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading tasks, as well as to withstand long hours of driving.
