Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Raises, updates, and tracks repair orders in the maintenance system in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintains and updates accurate repair status, documentation, and approved vendor lists in the maintenance system to ensure component visibility, traceability, and compliance.
  • Liaises with repair vendors and MROs to obtain repair quotations, clarify scope of work, and follow- up on repair status and delivery timelines.
  • Identifies and coordinates sourcing of new repair vendors by gathering vendor information, capabilities, and quotations in line with established procedures.
  • Plans, monitors and reviews the progress of component repair by ensuring timely completion within agreed TAT.
  • Coordinates with logistics and stores for dispatch and receipt of components and tools under repair.
  • Maintains complete and auditable documents related to tools & equipment repair and calibration activities in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Performs warranty claim processing and supplier recovery activities, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and company procedures.
  • Supports data-driven decision making by providing structured analysis and insights on repair activities.
  • Identifies recurring delays, high-cost drivers, or repair patterns and escalate findings for corrective action.
  • Maintains and reviews repair data, including turnaround times, repair costs, and vendor performance, and highlights trends, deviations, and inefficiencies.
  • Coordinates with Engineering & Maintenance teams to ensure alignment between repair activities and operational component requirements.
  • Assists in evaluating repair options (repair, replacement, exchange) based on cost, urgency and operational requirements.
  • Reviews and validates repair invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved quotations, contractual terms, and agreed repair work scopes.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by highlighting opportunities to enhance repair efficiency and cost control.

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in aviation component repair administration, repair order management, vendor coordination, and component support programmes, including repair, loan, exchange, and pool management within an airline, MRO, or aviation-related organisation.
  • Knowledge of aviation ERP or maintenance systems such as AMOS, TRAX, or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory planning tools.
  • Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
  • Relevant aviation or supply chain certifications are an advantage.

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
