Offset Printing Machine Operator - Folding Cartons Only MAJAN PRINTING AND PACKAGING CO. LLC

· Responsible in operating and setting the printing machine during production while maintaining all aspects of quality in the products.

Organizing printing schedules supplied by planning department and make sure that target will be reach end of the day.

Assist the crews (assistant and feeder man) as well as instructing them on what to do on daily work tasks during the duration of the shift.

Make sure that all checking all moving parts for freeness and lubricating it if necessary.

Communicate with immediate superior for day-to-day work-related issues on production.

Ensures for an effective and efficient utilization of resources (material and equipment) for achieving the production target keeping in view the quality standards set by the company.

Arrange the materials needed for easy accessing and to prevent waste of time in performing individual tasks.

Follow guidelines in the proper planning and execution of preventive maintenance program for the machine.

Follow the checklist for various quality parameters periodically as agreed or as per the company standards.

Ensure that accurate production report and inspection checklist is duly filled up and noted by the supervisor including machine maintenance records.

Ensures effective coordination with other departments. Coordinate with concerned department to arrange materials needed as per job requirements.

Inform supervisor regarding machine maintenance, spare parts and consumables.

Ensuring proper action to avoid wastage of material.

Ensures proper safety measures for own self other members of the work team by considering the utilization of Personal Protective Equipment like face masks and the like.

Comply with the Hygiene and Safety policies of the company and ensuring proper housekeeping in all shifts.

Ensures that materials used are properly stored and arranged every after use.

Responsible for minor modifications & adjustment of machinery with the use of proper equipment with proper consultation with maintenance staff.

Takes full responsibility on company guidelines relative to proper wearing of uniform, ID cards, shoes, proper grooming (long hair not allowed) and all other related internal policies of the company.

Ensures to cooperate in the event that overtime duty is required. And shall extend work on Fridays / Holidays if required.

Ensures that proper notification shall be given to immediate supervisors before the absent date.

Be able to adjust and comprehend with additional tasks given by superiors other than the required work responsibilities.

Ensures that daily production targets are achieved in relation to the required company standards.

· To study the production plan of the particular machine.

· Discuss the production plan with the previous shift operator

Study the job carefully through the W.O. envelope.

· Takes charge of the shift

§ Arrange and allocate work responsibilities to the crews and leads them for better production.

§ Check the materials available for each job (e.i. type of board, size of board etc.)

§ Check the auxiliary items for printing (e.i. Ink, varnish, blanket etc.)

§ Explain the information on the work order required for printing to the subordinates.

§ Check if color, text & size are approved before ensuing for printing.

· Run each jobs after getting approval from the production supervisor.

· To make sure that all the quality procedures concerning the production are completed.

· Prepare the Production Reports of each shift.

· Make sure that machine has been cleaned and ready for the next shift. As well as keeping the work station clean and tidy every after completion of each job.

· Informs the Supervisor, in writing, about machine maintenance, spare parts and consumables.

· Ensuring proper action to avoid wastage of material with the coordination of immediate superiors.

· Ensures that tools and used plates were properly stored and arranged every after use or upon completion of each work.

· Performs work specifications instructed by immediate supervisors.
