Roles & Responsibilities

We are an EPC project company, seeking a skilled and responsible Oil Filtration Machine Operator with experience in transformer oil filtration, dehydration, vacuuming, and oil handling activities for power and distribution transformers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating oil filtration plants/machines at substations, industrial sites, and transformer maintenance projects across the UAE.


Key Responsibilities are as under:-

  • Operate transformer oil filtration machines safely and efficiently.

  • Carry out oil filtration, oil filling, vacuuming, dehydration, and degassing activities for:

    • Power Transformers

    • Distribution Transformers

    • Reactors and related electrical equipment

  • Connect filtration hoses, pipelines, vacuum pumps, and accessories properly.

  • Monitor oil temperature, pressure, vacuum levels, and machine performance during operations.

  • Ensure contamination-free oil handling practices.

  • Perform oil sampling for laboratory testing.

  • Assist in transformer evacuation and oil filling under vacuum.

  • Maintain daily job reports, filtration records, and equipment checklists.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of oil filtration machines and tools.

  • Follow all HSE and electrical safety procedures at site.

  • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and client representatives during shutdown or maintenance activities.

  • Mobilize to various project sites across the UAE as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • ITI / Diploma / Technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in transformer oil filtration and maintenance activities.

  • Experience working with:

    • High voltage transformers

    • Oil filtration plants

    • Vacuum dehydration systems

    • Transformer maintenance contractors or utilities

  • Knowledge of transformer oil properties and BDV testing preferred.

  • Familiarity with UAE industrial or utility projects is an advantage.

  • Ability to read basic technical instructions and safety procedures.

  • Valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage.


Required Skills

  • Hands-on operation of oil filtration machines

  • Knowledge of transformer maintenance practices

  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting

  • Understanding of electrical safety procedures

  • Teamwork and site coordination

  • Physically fit for field/site work

  • Ability to work overtime or during shutdowns when required
