Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Shopify Catalog Management: Uplo Organize ShopifyCollections (manual and automated) and set display rules to highlight best-sellers, new arrivals, or seasonal items.
  • Visual Merchandising & Curation: Organize Shopify Collections (manual and automated) and set display rules to highlight best-sellers, new arrivals, or seasonal items.
  • On-Site Search & Navigation: Optimize site navigation and internal search filters to help customers find products quickly, reducing "zero-result" queries.
  • Promotional Execution: Implement sitewide discounts, Shopify Scripts, and promotional banners in alignment with marketing calendars.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor KPIs such as Conversion Rate (CR), Average Order Value (AOV), and bounce rates using Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics 4.
  • App Management: Evaluate and configure Shopify Apps for product recommendations, cross-selling, and social proof (reviews).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Platform Mastery: High proficiency in the Shopify Admin interface, including basic knowledge of Liquid (Shopify's templating language) for minor theme adjustments.
  • SEO Fluency: Ability to optimize product titles, descriptions, and alt-text for search engines.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for bulk data management and sales reporting.
  • Visual Eye: Strong sense of aesthetics for selecting high-quality imagery and maintaining brand consistency.
  • Operational Alignment: Ability to coordinate with inventory teams to ensure promoted products are in stock.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Typically a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3+ years in e-commerce merchandising or digital retail management, especially with luxury or high-value items
  • Certifications: Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem is required; certifications from Shopify Academy are a plus.
