Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct all functions of the Outpatient Department to ensure optimal service delivery and efficient patient flow.
Develop and implement operational plans, clinic schedules, and service improvement strategies in coordination with physicians and department heads.
Manage and supervise OPD staff including receptionists, coordinators, nurses, and support staff.
Monitor daily performance indicators including patient waiting time, clinic utilization, and service turnaround time.
Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and promote a culture of accountability and service excellence.
Conduct regular audits of clinic operations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and submit regular reports to management on OPD performance metrics (e.g., patient volume, satisfaction, waiting time).
Prepare and analyze departmental performance reports including patient volumes, revenue, staffing, and operational KPIs.
Coordinate with other hospital departments (Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, etc.) for integrated patient care.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, physicians, and staff.
Contribute to strategic planning and business development activities related to outpatient services.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree of Medicine is a must.
Postgraduate study in Hospital Management.
5 to 7 years of experience needed, preferably in a healthcare management role, especially within an outpatient department.
Understanding of patient care processes and patient service principles.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
