Opening for Finance Manager in Malacca Malaysia

·Purpose of the Role:
The Finance Manager oversees end-to-end finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, statutory compliance, and efficient financial management. The role provides strategic financial support to business leadership through analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing, accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, accruals), and balance sheet schedules.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS, KPI reports, and financial analysis for management and GM.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and identify savings and performance improvement opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and shareholder reporting requirements; coordinate internal and external audits.

• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, systems, and ERP-based reporting while leading and managing the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Certified Accountant preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle – 3+ years), team leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
