Position Overview
Nano Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operation Executive Ocean Export to join our Operations team in Alexandria.
The ideal candidate will have 1 2 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics operations and a strong understanding of export documentation and customer service processes. This role will be responsible for coordinating export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining customer communication, and supporting the successful execution of ocean freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive and review customer shipping instructions and booking requests.
• Coordinate export ocean freight shipments from booking to final execution.
• Issue shipment handling instructions and coordinate with documentation teams.
• Arrange cargo pickups, transportation, and shipment schedules.
• Prepare and monitor export shipping documents and ensure compliance with customer and carrier requirements.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding shipment status and operational updates.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage shipment files and ensure accurate operational records.
• Provide accurate job costing forecasts and support financial accuracy.
• Assist the Sales team by providing freight rates, schedules, and operational information for quotations.
• Support smooth customer onboarding and account implementation processes.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or export operations.
• Alexandria residents are preferred.
• Good understanding of ocean export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fast learner with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
