Job Title: Operation & Maintenance Shift In-Charge

Location: Oman (industrial plant bulk solid material handling )

Employment Type: Full-time, shift-based

Reporting To: O&M Manager / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities

Shift Management

Supervise and coordinate all O&M activities during assigned shifts.

Ensure smooth operation of equipment, utilities, and plant processes.

Allocate tasks to technicians and monitor performance.

Operations

Monitor SCADA systems and remote-control operations.

Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure quick resolution.

Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Maintenance

Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

Ensure minimal downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Coordinate with engineering teams for major repairs or upgrades.

Reporting

Record operational data and prepare shift performance reports.

Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.

Report incidents, breakdowns, and corrective actions taken.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma / Bachelors in Mechanical, Engineering.

Experience: 7 10 years in O&M roles, preferably in ndustrial plants.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of SCADA systems and remote monitoring.

Familiarity with bulk solid materials handling system / ship loading operation .

Strong troubleshooting and commissioning expertise.

Competencies

Ability to work under pressure in shift-based environments.

Good communication and reporting abilities.

Commitment to safety and compliance standards.

Risks & Considerations

Shift Work: Requires flexibility for night/day rotations.
