Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of our taxi fleet in Makkah. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum fleet utilisation, driver performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards. This is a critical leadership position driving operational excellence, safety, and profitability for our mobility business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial
- Execute operational strategy to deliver utilisation, revenue & efficiency targets
 - Drive digital operational initiatives (Buddy App, VOC/VOD programs)
 - Build & optimise SOPs and fleet performance dashboards
 
Operational Excellence
- Manage day-to-day taxi fleet operations & ensure maximum uptime
 - Monitor KPIs – EPT (Earnings per Taxi), accidents, complaints, attrition
 - Oversee driver onboarding, training, shift planning & compliance checks
 - Coordinate with maintenance & workshop teams for servicing & repairs
 - Ensure regulatory compliance, liaison with transport authorities
 - Implement cost control around fuel, spare fleet & operational resources
 
People & Driver Management
- Lead the fleet operations team, supervisors & support staff
 - Conduct performance reviews & ensure KPI ownership
 - Enhance driver engagement, grievance handling & retention
 
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process optimization and tech-enabled fleet management
 - Implement digital tools (RFID, checklists, dashboards etc.)
 
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in science or related field with strong numeric

 - Accident Ratio per million kms
 - Customer Satisfaction & Complaint Ratio
 - Fleet Hygiene & Compliance Score
 
Requirements
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Operations or related field)
 - Strong analytical, planning & leadership capabilities
 - Knowledge of mobility/fleet systems, digital tracking & KPI dashboards
 
Experience
- 5–10 years in Fleet / Mobility / Taxi / Transport Operations
 - Experience managing large driver workforce & 24/7 operations
 - Excellent regulatory understanding (preferred KSA transport laws) l and data analysis skills.
