Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are a manufacturing company in Ras al Khaimah looking for Fiberglass Boat/Jetcar Manufacturing Operation Supervisor: • Supervise the complete fiberglass boat manufacturing process. • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards. • Monitor workflow and production metrics to ensure efficiency.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of production workers.
• Delegate tasks and conduct performance evaluations.
• Promote a collaborative and productive work environment
• Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures. • Conduct product inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Identify and resolve quality issues with corrective actions.
• Continuously assess and enhance production processes. • Identify opportunities to increase productivity and reduce waste. • Stay updated with advancements in fiberglass technology and materials.
• Ensure compliance with RAK and company safety regulations. • Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with suppliers. • Track production costs and manage within budget. • Ensure materials and resources are available for uninterrupted production.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications • Proven experience in fiberglass boat manufacturing or a related industry. • Familiarity with fiberglass lamination and/or aluminum boat assembly and working on boat molds • Can manage production line efficiently up to the final production • Familiarity with gelcoat application • Able to teach team members proper application of fiber layers • Previous leadership or managerial experience in a production setting. • Strong understanding of quality control and safety standards. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (plus point).
