Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Manage and optimize warehouse space to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and maximize throughput.
- Coordinate with freight carriers, negotiate rates, and resolve any shipping-related issues to minimize costs and delays.
- Implement and maintain shipping procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
- Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling and international shipping.
