Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments are sterile and readily available for procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the surgical team and other departments, communicating any specific needs or updates during surgeries.
- Help in the transfer of patients to and from the operating room, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to infection control standards and protocols.
- Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately, maintaining detailed records for future reference.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; certification in surgical technology is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in surgery or sterile environments.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures is essential for effective communication.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, showcasing strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster good relationships with medical staff, patients, and families.
