Job Title: Operation Theatre (OT) Nurse
Job Summary:
An OT Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role involves assisting surgeons, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operation theatre and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures (scrub nurse / circulating nurse role)
- Monitor patients vital signs before, during, and after surgery
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate surgical records and documentation
- Coordinate with surgical team members for smooth workflow
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Handle emergency situations in the OT effectively
Requirements:
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
- Valid nursing license / registration
