Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct regular visits to caf locations, assessing various aspects of operations, and guiding and coaching the operations team on inventory management, recipe adherence, consistency in portion control, and presentation.
Staff Training: Train new staff, refresher training for existing staff, implement franchisor training programs
Training Program - Develop comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing skill enhancement for existing staff, covering customer service, food preparation, hygiene protocols, upselling, POS use & more.
Training Material - Use existing training portal & Create training manuals, guides to support effective training delivery.
Onboarding - Lead the onboarding process for new employees, introducing them to company culture, policies, and their roles.
Technical skills - Facilitate comprehensive training for new employees or exiting employees, covering espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and signature beverage recipes.
Performance enhancement - Identify skill gaps and performance issues among staff members and design training interventions to address these areas.
Coaching & Mentorship - Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and mentorship to enhance employee performance and job satisfaction.
Product knowledge - Conduct regular sessions on seasonal launches, beans, equipment and food safety protocols.
Arrange training course for new stores owner/manager/barista
Ensure staff training in standardized recipes and preparation procedures for all food and beverage items.
Assess the quality, taste, and presentation of products to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
Identify any deviations from recipes and recommend corrective actions.
Train staff on inventory precision to minimize shrinkage and manage COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) effectively.
Set up store (machines, equipment, etc.), train store manager and barista (On the Job Training), and support during opening days.
Train staff members on compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards related to customer service, cleanliness, and hygiene.
Assist in ensuring 100% adherence to health and safety regulations, ISO, including food handling, storage, and preparation practices.
Conduct routine evaluation on staff performance and interactions with customers, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Propose new equipment, operation processes and services.
Develop operation, training manual and standard for Cafe Amazon in Oman, with approval from PTTOR
Monthly training, Sub-Franchise stores in Oman in line with journey plan and all visits to be documented.
Ensure adherence to caf amazon standard and training protocols.
Prepare detailed monthly training reports summarizing training/s conducted, observations, and recommendations.
Analyze training data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
Present training and staff evaluation findings to the caf management team.
Track the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on outstanding issues.
Competitor Benchmarking: To continuously analyze the market and accordingly recommend improvement regarding Caf and products to ensure customer satisfaction and improve profitability and sustainability.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
Recommend best practices and process improvements to management.
Participate in the development and revision of audit checklists and procedures.
Budget oversight - Collaborate with the management team to improve budgets for labor, inventory, and other operational expenses.
Sales Analysis & Reporting - Monitor sales trends, identify opportunities for revenue growth, and propose strategies to increase profitability.
Expansion: Support Caf expansion plans by collaborating with Network Development and Engineering teams to ensure business expansion.
HSEQ
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environment and quality management procedures and control across the department and organization to ensure legislative compliance, employees safety as well as delivering high quality service.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
Bachelor s Degree with a Possession of suitable certifications / qualification
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a training or supervisory role.
Exposures to multinational / local Caf Brand managing multiple outlets would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service
Skills:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team / training / coaching.
Customer service attitude
Strong hands-on operational bias.
Financial and computer literacy.
Good knowledge level in Microsoft Office & Presentation Skill.
