Roles & Responsibilities

Department Overview:
The Operations department is responsible for providing and supervising flight-related services to elite clients of Jetex.
Operations Team is essential for maintaining the safety, efficiency, and reliability of flight operations. Their work ensures that flights run smoothly and on time, contributing to overall client satisfaction and operational success. The Discovery team is based in Dubai and using the latest technologies in the industry, it plays a critical role in ensuring that flights are operated in accordance with regulations and company policies.

Job Purpose:
The Operations Controller is responsible to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of aviation services to clients by processing daily tasks, monitoring flights and services, optimizing trip planning, and maintaining Jetex service standards. The role also involves communicating effectively with employees and management and collaborating with internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily operation tasks according to applicable work procedures.
  • Assist operators in trip planning and conduct feasibility checks.
  • Help operators to optimize their flights for efficiency.
  • Solve any issues with flights immediately to avoid possible delays.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure services are confirmed and delivered correctly.
  • Monitor services and flights on the timeline and ensure confirmations on time.
  • Work hand-in-hand with other teams in Jetex to deliver the required service efficiently.
  • Communicate with employees and management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Complete other tasks as instructed by the Reporting Manager, within the job scope.
Compliance-related duties

  • Adhere to the documented procedures of the organization or department and retain documented evidence related to the performance of their role._x000D_ The employee is expected to exercise their duty of care and must be aware of their health and safety responsibilities, accountability and authority; and shall comply with the policies and procedures outlined by the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

2 + years experience in international flights planning

Knowledge of aviation regulations and industry best practices

Proficiency in flight planning software and systems

Familiarity with air traffic control procedures and communication protocols

Understanding of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations

Ability to read and interpret flight manuals, charts, and navigational aids

Knowledge of the Russian language is an advantage
