Operations Coordinator ALLIED TRANSPORT LLC

Purpose To track delivery schedules and ensure deliveries are met as per timelines.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of goods

• Responsible and accountable for providing information of the availability of trucks to the despatcher

• Responsible and accountable for tracking deliveries of goods and entering in the oracle transportation system and updating customers or superiors as required

• Responsible and accountable for manually updating the offloading details in the oracle system

• Responsible for coordinating with KSA operations for backload and clearing agents for clearance of backload shipments

• Responsible for dealing with customers, attending to complaints if any, resolving them in conjunction with the superiors

• Responsible for monitoring and reporting driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.

• Responsible for handling emergency situations as per emergency operations SLA

• Responsible for preparing and submitting analysis for operations activities

• Responsible and accountable to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost

• Responsible for timeously preparing daily reports, monthly reports

• Responsible for doing any other related logistics functions as requested or required

Key Performance Indicators

· Analyzing and implementing improvements to existing processes, procedures

· Submitting reports as per the agreed deadlines

· Number of delays in preparing reports & Delay in reaching destination.

· Number of inaccuracies in reports

· Timely entering the data in the oracle.

Competencies

· Thorough knowledge of process and procedures involved in operations activities

· Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.

· Ability to inspect equipment, vehicles, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

· Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy

· Ability to instruct and supervise assistants

· Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills

Education Graduate

Experience 2-3 years of relevant experience
