Roles & Responsibilities

Your mission as an Operations Director is to lead, optimize, and scale the organization's operational capabilities to ensure efficiency, quality, and sustainable growth. You will play a critical leadership role in translating strategy into execution, driving operational excellence, and building a high-performance culture across all operational functions.

Key Responsibilities: Strategy, Execution & Operational Excellence
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business strategy into actionable operational plans and KPIs.
  • Lead end-to-end operations, ensuring efficiency, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Oversee capacity planning and ensure scalability to support business growth.
  • Manage operational budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Optimize resource allocation across people, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Commercial, IT) to ensure alignment.
  • Lead organizational design and capability-building initiatives within operations.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Skills & Qualifications: Leadership & Operational Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in scaling operations and leading transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
  • Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost optimization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage complexity, lead change, and influence at the executive level.
  • Fluent in English.
