Operations Engineer

Overview

To manage safe and efficient operations by applying engineering knowledge in both electrical and mechanical domains. The Operations Engineer will act as the main point of contact for on-site operational activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operation and maintenance of heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during operations.
• Apply engineering principles and safe work systems in compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and operational analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain operational documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process reliability and equipment performance.
• Serve as the key contact for client and staff communication during operational shifts.

Must Have

• Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical)

• Minimum 5 years in operation and maintenance of heavy industrial machinery.
• Experience with:
• Hydraulic Power Presses
• CNC Machines (Computer Numerical Control)
• PLC Systems (Programmable Logic Controller)
• AC/DC Drives, Servo Drives, and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Control Circuits Maintenance

• Strong understanding of operational systems and manufacturing control.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to research, report, and innovate technically.
• Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Leadership and communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members.
