Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and streamline all import/export clearance processes, ensuring compliance with Sharjah customs regulations and minimizing delays.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with Sharjah Customs officials, port authorities, and other relevant stakeholders for smooth operations.
  • Supervise a team of clearance officers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including manifests, invoices, and permits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as a Customs Broker License or similar, demonstrating expertise in customs regulations.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in customs clearance operations, specifically within the Sharjah region.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements in the UAE.
