Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Review contracts, lead negotiations, and support project execution planning.
Develop and enhance project management and installation capabilities across various regions in the Kingdom.
Oversee construction site activities, manage vendors and subcontractors, and maintain effective communication with clients at all times.
Lead tender planning, short-term scheduling, and ongoing project monitoring.
Prepare procurement schedules and coordinate with Project Managers and commercial teams regarding site requirements, materials, and specialist services, ensuring timely delivery.
Represent the company in all site meetings.
Monitor operational systems and construction methods to ensure maximum efficiency.
Ensure work output meets required quality standards at optimal cost, minimizing rework and snagging.
Enforce compliance with company procedures, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, to reduce site risks and incidents.
Optimize utilization of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records throughout the construction lifecycle.
Define project objectives and execution plans, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, performance targets, and subcontractor selection.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all site-based operations to ensure that construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maximizing client satisfaction.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction or fit-out industry in the Gulf.
- Tier 1 fit out contractor experience is ideal, but not necessary.
- Strong technical, execution, and commercial expertise, with in-depth knowledge of woodworking processes, including joinery, case goods manufacturing, timber, veneers, and hardware.
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles within the wood manufacturing or fit-out sector.
- Strong understanding of the fit-out market, including current major developments and strategic approaches to participation in key projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment.
- Extensive experience managing multiple retail and commercial projects simultaneously.
