Operations Manager - Industrial

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager leads and optimises all production and maintenance activities, ensuring efficient, cost-effective and compliant operations aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving operational performance across safety, quality, service and cost
• Managing budgets (OPEX, CAPEX, inventories) and delivering against targets
• Leading the S&OP process in coordination with Supply Chain, Sales and Finance
• Developing and engaging multidisciplinary teams
• Championing Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives
• Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field, combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial operations, including significant exposure to senior leadership responsibilities. Strong background in managing complex production environments, leading multi-disciplinary teams and driving operational performance across safety, quality, cost and service. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in transformation, continuous improvement and change management, together with a solid grasp of HSE, quality and regulatory standards. Exposure to Lean or Operational Excellence programmes will be considered a strong advantage. A pragmatic, hands-on and results-driven leadership style will be essential for success in the role.

A solid understanding of the Egyptian industrial landscape and regulatory environment, ideally supported by prior operational experience in Egypt, will be important for success in the role. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in transformation, continuous improvement and change management, together with a solid grasp of HSE, quality and regulatory standards.
