Roles & Responsibilities
An Operations Manager in the e-commerce sector is a critical role that involves managing and optimizing the daily operations of an online business. This position requires a dynamic individual who can handle various aspects of the business, including logistics, supply chain management, customer service, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, coupled with exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for ensuring that orders are processed efficiently, inventory levels are maintained, and customer satisfaction remains at the forefront. The Operations Manager will work closely with different departments to streamline operations and implement strategies that drive efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the e-commerce platform to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage and optimize the supply chain and logistics processes effectively.
- Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with IT and tech teams to maintain platform functionality.
- Implement customer service initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Analyze data to monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve departmental objectives and targets.

Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an e-commerce operations role.
- Proven track record of managing teams and improving business processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
