Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the car rental and leasing business, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to standards.
- Oversee fleet management activities including procurement, registration, insurance, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of rental agents, fleet supervisors, and warehouse officers to deliver outstanding service.
- Develop and implement cost-control strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Establish, monitor, and optimize operational systems and replacement strategies for maximum efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, service providers, car dealers, and insurance partners.
- Prepare operational reports and KPIs for senior management to guide strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and insurance policies.
- Supervise performance evaluation, identify training needs, and encourage staff development.
- Oversee budgeting, planning, and auditing processes to support sustainable growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in car rental operations, fleet management, or automotive industry, including at least 10 years in a managerial role.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a fast-paced service environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of fleet utilization, pricing, and customer service practices.
- Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in English (required); Arabic is an added advantage.
