Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the travel and tour department to ensure seamless execution of itineraries and services.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team including travel consultants, guides, and support staff.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and vendors to secure high-quality services and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively to achieve operational targets.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client retention.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align operational capabilities with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation within the operations team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex operational workflows.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including experience working with multicultural teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Experience in budget management and cost control.
