In a context of strong growth, ESS (Engineering and Services SMAC), our service subsidiary based in Casablanca, Morocco, is strengthening its organization and recruiting an Operations Director to manage its activity and support its growth.

Your role: a true operational leader

Reporting to the management of ESS, you will be responsible for the overall management (teams and activities) of ESS and will ensure the performance of the teams serving the SMAC agencies in France.

Your main responsibilities:

Manage the entire activity (15 employees in the pricing department, 5 in the methods department, 16 in accounts payable), contributing to its growth in human resources (recruitment) and skills (team expertise)

Managing and developing multidisciplinary teams, with a particular focus on the cost estimating and methods departments

To guarantee the quality, deadlines and reliability of services provided to French agencies

Prioritizing and balancing workloads, in conjunction with French agencies

Develop a strong partnership relationship with French agencies

To ensure the economic management of the entity (budget, productivity, profitability)

Represent ESS within the group and participate in strategic discussions

A position with a strong international dimension. As a key interface between Morocco and France, you play a central role in coordinating teams and managing intercultural issues.

A strategic challenge: To make ESS a high-performing, recognized service center fully integrated into the development of SMAC.

Qualifications

With a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac +3/5) or an Engineering degree in Building or Civil Engineering, you have at least 3 years of successful experience in building envelope systems (waterproofing, roofing, cladding, facades). You also have proven experience in the construction industry (cost estimates, methods, etc.).
