Position Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee the technical performance, maintenance, and readiness of the equipment fleet in KSA. This role ensures all lifting and façade equipment are safe, functional, and available for dispatch, supporting smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Readiness & Technical Oversight

  • Supervise and coordinate inspection, maintenance, and repair of all rental equipment.
  • Approve equipment for dispatch only after meeting safety and operational standards.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex issues and support preventive maintenance planning.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recurring faults to recommend solutions.

2. Workshop & Team Management

  • Manage the Workshop Supervisor and maintenance team for daily operations.
  • Oversee job scheduling, task prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure workshop safety, quality control, and adherence to company procedures.
  • Support training and performance development of maintenance staff.

3. Supplier & OEM Coordination

  • Liaise with equipment suppliers and manufacturers for parts, warranties, and major repairs.
  • Handle warranty claims, technical support, and spare part procurement.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships for cost-effective and timely service.

4. Operational Efficiency & Fleet Management

  • Track utilization, downtime, and maintenance costs to optimize fleet performance.
  • Coordinate with Hire Desk and Logistics teams to ensure equipment readiness matches demand.
  • Recommend purchases, replacements, or upgrades based on lifecycle analysis.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all KSA safety and environmental standards.
  • Maintain inspection records and certification documents for audits.
  • Implement and oversee equipment safety checks and preventive measures.

6. Budget & Cost Control

  • Monitor maintenance and repair expenses for cost efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets for spare parts, tools, and workshop operations.

7. Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with Hire Desk, Logistics, and Workshop teams to align operations.
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in equipment operations, maintenance, or service roles.
  • Strong knowledge of lifting, access, or construction equipment systems.
  • Experience managing workshop staff and maintenance schedules.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Valid KSA driving license preferred.
