Job overview:


The Operations Supervisor (OPS) is responsible for managing all incoming (IB) and outgoing (OB) field operations to ensure that defined service objectives are met, through adherence to established procedures and team guidance. They are also responsible for managing the vehicle fleet, other fixed assets, and third-party (3P) contracts. They must comply with all company standards, compliance requirements, and OPE requirements.


Tasks and responsibilities:


Acting as the main point of contact for all operations-related communications between OPE management, FedEx partners, and internal departments.

Ensuring 100% compliance with scanning procedures (IB/OB) and following processes approved by the team.

Ensure that all incoming shipments are delivered and outgoing shipments are received within the specified time.

Adherence to specified timelines such as cargo sorting (PKG Sorting), route segregation, BLT operations, etc.

We guarantee to respond to all inquiries and communications within one hour with accurate information.

Coordination with all branches to ensure compliance with the approved procedures at each location.

Coordination with contracted and temporary suppliers to ensure the required level of service is achieved while minimizing the financial and operational impact on the company.

Ensure that daily payments are collected and settled with the finance department, and that there are no outstanding receivables.

Maintaining cleanliness and order in all operational areas.

Propose and implement initiatives to reduce operating costs such as reducing overtime, fuel consumption, and office supplies.

Ensuring 100% compliance with operational scanning procedures, and preparing reports to address any gaps.

Preparing and sharing daily, weekly, and monthly reports with relevant teams, management, and partners.

Maintaining a healthy work environment between the immediate team, other departments, and management.

Guiding, training and supporting direct staff to improve performance and service levels.

Perform any additional tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Adherence to operational work schedules as instructed by supervisors or management.
