Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


    • The incumbent will work closely with the Chartering Manager to manage vessels; supporting with vessel operations and liaising with the Finance department oversee payments for various parties.

    • Coordinate vessel voyages by maintaining constant communication with vessels, charterers and other parties.

    • Nomination of port agents and payment handling.

    • Arrangement of insurance, security guards and legal matters (e.g., claim management, liaising with operations department and brokers).

    • Bunkering arrangements (i.e., monitor fuel / gas oil supply schedule).

    • Coordinating and liaising with Technical department.

    • Manage payments related to vessels in coordination with Finance department.

    • Support the Shipping Operator when necessary.

    • Support in preparing yearly reports and whenever else required (e.g., savings, operations, feedback on challenges and suggestions, etc.)

    • Support in Ad-Hoc requests as requested by Line Manager.

    • Adhere to company values (excellence, integrity, relationships, accountable)


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in Operations, preferably in oil industry
