Roles & Responsibilities

Position Details:
Job Title: O&M Engineer – Substation
Project: Alfanar Power Project
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Department: Operations & Maintenance
Reports To: O&M Manager / Senior Electrical Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time | On-site


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain HV/MV substations and related systems.
  • Monitor performance of transformers, breakers, relays, and control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC, IEC, and IEEE standards.
  • Prepare maintenance records and technical reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of substation O&M experience (preferably in KSA or GCC).
  • Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems, SCADA, and protection systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and safety skills.
